Abstract

In the investigation, the calculation of two heat exchangers, energy storage heat exchangers, using materials undergoing phase change (MCF) is carried out. In one of the exchangers, the material changes phase at a temperature of 121 oC and in the other at 0 oC. The energy stored in the high-temperature exchanger is used to supply the heating in the absorption machine's generator, while the energy stored in the low-temperature exchanger is used for cooling in the absorption machine's evaporator. The phase change materials used are erythritol for heating and ice for cooling. The cooling capacity of the absorption machine is 7 kW. As a result, the main dimensions of the individual heat exchangers were obtained.
