Opportunities for improvement in search of cleaner productions from a study for the dimensioning of PV systems connected to the grid
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work shows the opportunity for improvement, which represents for the energy performance of the Company of Technical and Specialized Services Cienfuegos (ESTEC), conducting a preliminary study for the installation of a photovoltaic system of grid injection, which are capable of generating at least 30 % of the consumption of the electrical energy it consumes and the sizing of the main equipment and components that the photovoltaic system needs.
The photovoltaic modules that are proposed to be installed in the different facilities of the company will be 250 Wp, 60 cells and with dimensions of 1660x990 mm, the inverters will be of different powers, according to the number of modules of each premises, but all will be three-phase to facilitate the balance of the internal power lines of the buildings.
If the installation of this photovoltaic system is actually carried on the premises studied, they could contribute 77 % of the electricity currently consumed by the company. For this concept, 151,80 tons of fuel are saved per year; representing, for the country, a saving of $ 121,42 CUC (MP), so it stops emitting 326,0 tons of CO2 per year into the atmosphere.
