Monitoring of the a photovoltaic solar park

Abstract
Within the group of renewable energies, the photovoltaic solar is proposed as one of the best solutions from a technological, environmental and economic point of view. The technology in photovoltaic solar parks has more and more automated, complex equipment and in which a great diversity of elements such as automata, computers and drives coexist. As the flexibility of photovoltaic systems increases, the complexity of the control system necessary to govern also increases. The referenced solar park has a network based on the IEC-61850 standard that allows integrating all the protection, control, measurement and supervision functions of intelligent electronic devices. The foundations of a remote monitoring system for the solar park electrical system are laid out, for this it is necessary to configure a reliable and efficient communication bus between the measurement devices and the Gateway, the latter being responsible for making possible a local LAN network connected to it, have access to an external network and in turn perform the conversion of the stored variables to the Modbus/TCP protocol.
