Photovoltaic energy and Cuba's energy transition
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cuba does not enjoy energy sovereignty, the importation of fossil fuels entails a huge outlay of MLC. The country is committed to gradually changing the situation for renewable energy sources (FRE), among which photovoltaic energy shows a great opportunity, which has been studied and advised by the author at the national level, from the university activity for more than 30 years . It is impossible in a single article to reflect all the argued and proposed aspects to achieve a greater contribution of PV generation to 100% of the country's FRE, so we suggest complementing and accessing the book PV energy for Cuba, as well as the analysis carried out by the PV technology surveillance publications called Vitecfv, which can be accessed from the Cubasolar website.
